Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This research line focuses on the management of organizations, with an emphasis on strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation. Under strategy, the objects of study are the formation, implementation and results of organizational strategies, with emphasis on the factors that motivate, influence or condition them. Emphasis is given to the study of strategists, organizational processes with strategic impact and interactions between the organization and the environment. The themes addressed include: strategies in complex organizations, organizational results and strategic performance, resources and organizational skills and organizational learning, among others.

Organization and Change

This research line in organization and change addresses the insertion of organizations in the world, regional and local orders, stimulating the combined analysis of change, the effort of organizations to internationalize and the impact of this effort on the operational and strategic characteristics and inter-organizational relationships. It mainly deals with questions related to structural and processual changes in organizations, as well as the structure of organizational fields and analysis of social practices.
